The Clear Creek Education Foundation, Inc. recently met a Matching Funds Challenge Grant from the Lillis Family Foundation. To date we have raised a total of $29,160 - $6,000 presented last year and $23,160 recently presented to the Clear Creek School District for the purchase of Smartboards and associated equipment. Every dollar you donated went directly toward providing this hands-on technology tool for all of our classrooms.

Smartboards are the chalkboards of the 21st century– a new technology tool used in many schools and universities across the country. This electronic whiteboard technology allows students and teachers to illustrate curriculum information visually.

Our school district was recently able to provide all of our classrooms with Smartboards for those teachers who wanted them.  As a small district we have been able to accomplish this with donations from our parents, teachers, staff, school organizations, and the local community. We continue to raise funds for the peripheral equipment associated with the smartboards - microscopes, cameras, etc.
